I really wanted to love this affordable CeraVe Bal

I really wanted to love this affordable CeraVe Balancing Air Foam Cleanser* but my skin just doesn’t like it,

At £10.86 for 148ml, this cleaner is great value for money. It’s designed for normal to combination skin and claims to deliver up to 24 hours of hydration and up to 8 hours of oil control.

Unfortunately, while I love the foamy cleanser, this leaves my skin feeling a bit stripped and dry. It doesn’t irritate my rosacea as such, but it seems to strip moisture from my skin. While I think it does help control excess oil, it comes at the expense of my skin feeling dry afterwards.

If you’ve tried this cleanser, did you have the same experience? I’m wondering if this specific formula doesn’t agree with my sensitive combination skin 🤔

It’s so easy to do and effective. It’ll take a few goes for me to get really good at applying. Some parts didn’t remove the hair properly as I applied the wax too thickly or heavily. But once I get the hang of it, I know this at-home waxing kit will be so handy.
