I’m thrilled to announce that Honest Reviews Woman has been named one of the top 20 UK skincare blogs in 2025 by FeedSpot! This is truly such an honour, and I’m delighted that my website has made it onto this comprehensive and coveted list.
FeedSpot ranks the best UK skincare websites from thousands of blogs across the web based on relevancy, authority, social media followers, and freshness.
This accolade means so much, as the last year of blogging has been difficult and quite disheartening. When Google did a major algorithm update in late 2023, I saw a major decline in website traffic. It felt like all the years I’d spent putting together content and building traffic had regressed. I found this demotivating for quite a while, as for months I just saw my traffic decreasing, and it made me wonder whether it was even worth continuing Honest Reviews Woman. Although I know other bloggers were experiencing the exact same problems, it was a difficult time for everyone in this space.
But I knew I didn’t want to give up my website, as I still enjoyed creating content. The whole reason I began my blog was to marry together my passion for writing and love for all things makeup and skincare, so I kept focusing on that. While the decrease in traffic was initially disheartening, I began re-finding my love and motivation for my blog. And in the last 4 months, my website traffic has picked up again.
So getting this amazing achievement from FeedSpot has reaffirmed that continuing Honest Reviews Woman was definitely the right decision.
Over the last 6 years, I’ve managed to work with some incredible brands, tried and reviewed some game-changing products, and connected with loads of other beauty addicts along the way. As a massive perk of creating beauty and lifestyle content, I also manage to secure some awesome exclusive discount codes from excellent brands like Dermatica, LookFantastic, Perricone MD, and Wild Natural Deodorant.
